So I wrote to Oprah.com...Rhonda suggested it and I wasn't really at a point to say much intelligent about what I am trying to do at that point so I didn't write them. Now I have a bit more of a clue. We'll see what happens...I am quite sure they get deluged with pizzillions of e-mails so I am not the slightest bit sure a real human will ever even see it. It is certainly worth a shot though, I basically asked for any help they would offer of any kind, money, advice, exposure, anything would be great. I think my work is good enough and unique enough to sell...it is selling in fact, just a bit slowly, takes time to build a reputation. The lady in Canada loves her painting...wooohooo. I am very happy about that, I am international now, woot. Validation is extremely helpful at this point. It just takes time and in the meantime, the bills come due and I cover up the empty canvases I bought with paint and need more... I sincerely and deeply thank Gayle and Rhonda for supporting me through this process, both emotionally and monetarily. Their gifts will not be forgotten EVER. So thank you for supporting me- THANK YOU!

This coffee is FANTASTIC! Try it and you will be HOOKED! This is a shameless endorsement because it really is that good!!!

So I am feeling a bit discouraged today...I'm spending waaaaay more on listings for ebay then what I am making...
On a more positive note I have sold several paintings. One is on its' way to Canada as we speak...and this is GREAT.
I need to learn patience...I need to have faith...I need to sell some darn artwork.
On a cute note here is another pic from the zoo...my furry friends don't believe in "fighting like cats and dogs" for them it is more like "sleeping like cats and dogs"...

Not everyone can take a photo of their muse. I can, however, and I would like to present my muse. This is Gizmo aka Mo-Mo. We rescued him from the back of our apartment complex. He was the runt of a feral litter and his mom had stopped feeding him. Gayle and I grabbed him and took turns taking him to work in a big cardboard box so we could feed him every few hours. Now he is grown (still a bit small, but quite healthy) and he likes nothing better than to hang with me in the studio. I enjoy the company and he is very respectful of my paintings. So without further ado, please meet Mo-Mo:

Went to see Dervish in concert last night! They were awesome, amazing, and wonderful! I love Celtic music and these folks put such a fun lovely spin on that. Got two CD's and had them signed. It was big fun.
Here are some links to get their music-it is good stuff!
